Earth Day Celebrtaion

Earth Day is celebrated all over the globe on the 22ndof April. It’s all about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet earth with its incredible biodiversity. Alpine Kids celebrated the Earth Day with an aim to sensitize the students towards their role in keeping the Mother Earth clean in myriad of educational and fun activities. A special assembly was conducted where the students were made aware of the importance 4 R’s Refuse, Reduce,Reuse, & Recycle through a posters on Earth Day.Grade 6 to 9 made posters on Earth Day . They also wrote different slogan to save mother earth and decorated the book mark with stars. The students of Alpine Kids School also took a pledge to save Mother Earth and would respect the natural inheritance and will be good caretakers of their planet. Principal Lakhwinder Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students and added that we should join hands to save our Earth from the increasing environmental degradation and exhorted everybody to save flora and fauna, soil and water from the growing industrialization and urbanization.
