Baisakhi Celebration

Baisakhi is the festival which celebrates the founding of the Sikh community known as the Khalsa. It is celebrated on April13 each year. People in the Punjab Region regard Baisakhi as a harvest festival and the Punjabi new year. Baisakhi was celebrated with exuberance and gaiety.High points of baisakhi celebration was the traditional bhangra and gidda dance on the beats of the dhol by our Alpine School champs and staff members. The festival of harvest was celebrated in order to acquaint the students with the punjabi culture and tradition. The students dressed up as Khalsa. The children were briefed about the importance of the festival. Our Alpine camps celebrated Baisakhi with great fervour and enthusiasm. May this Baisakhi brings you All the happiness & success, Good health and lots of Wealth, Lots of love and blessings from above, Showers of peace and prosperity And cheers of unity Ocean of good luck and Golden harvest to pluck, Incessant joy and best wishes to enjoy.
